MAJOR SCORE.......................... BOO-YA
Got the local shopper paper in the mail today.
Was leisurely looking through it and found an add for a used 3pt post hole digger, with 9" and 12" augers.
Called and ended up driving over and getting it.
It is a category 1, full size, 3pt, pto driven digger. It is a Speeco brand, same as Farm and Fleet sells. Looks like it has been stored outside in the weeds. Fits and runs good. Needs new teeth on the 9" auger, cleaned up and greased. May get around to splashing a little green paint on it later this summer.
Including the 90 mile round trip to get it, this was half price of a new set up.
I have several pine tree stumps to grub out this summer. a couple post holes for flower bed trellis, plant a few trees. Set a couple posts for a short piece of fence.
I would have had to find one to borrow several times over the summer if I hadn't found this.
Now I have to start looking for a sub soil ripper tool.
I'm glad.
