I just got told about this and I signed up. It looks fun.
Go to www.paperbackswap.com How it works is you sign up, post at least 9 paperback books that are in good condition and that you no longer want. You earn three free credits immediately, each good for one book. Then, if someone wants one of the books you have, you get an e-mail, then you print out a mailing label that the sight provides, mail the book (postage is about $2.15) and when the person receives it, you get a credit to get another book. You can buy credits, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

I don't know how frugal this will be, but I have so far gotten credits for 7 books that I did a search and found the missing paperbacks for series that my daughters and I collect, so I'm excited.

Hrmm, for about the same price you are paying to ship the books to people... I"m buying books on amazon after shipping... You can usually find tons of paperbacks for a penny, tons more under a dollar, and even more under 2-3$... and the shipping is usually around 2-3$. But nice find! Thanks for sharing :)
