Being a person who prefers sound over visual (I prefer radio over television), one of my best finds is the BBC radio websites. You can listen online to a large variety of programs from comedy, drama, old shows, new shows, classic books, classic music, science fiction, serial programs, and even kids programs. BBC has several different radio "stations" and my favorite is BBC 7. You can listen at your leasure because they have a section in each called "listen again" which has the previous 6 days' programs for you to pick from and listen to. I have listened to excellent full cast dramas of Sherlock Holmes, old time comedy with Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan on the Goon Show, and so much more. It is very easy to find. Just type in BBC radio in your favorite search engine. And it is all FREE on the internet! What are your ideas and finds?
