Buying shorts

Late last week when I got on a trolley at the library the lady next to me spilled her drink and it ran under me. By the time I got up, I'm slow to move, it looked like I had wet myself! UGH! I decided to go to the Goodwill store downtown and see if I could find a pair of cheap shorts so I could change.
Since I'm large and it's hot here in south central Texas I like shorts that come down to my knees when I stand. Because of this the past couple of times I've started buying men's shorts. I find they fit better, are longer, and are actually better made than those designed for women. I can get ones that don't have an elastic waist and they actually fit and are comfortable! I also try to buy light colored ones since they tend to keep me cooler here, the two pair I have are tan.
I found a nice pair for $2.99 minus 25% since they had a pink tag on them.
Any other ladies here buy men's wear?

don't tell anyone, but around the farm I wear my husbands undershirts. I found they are way cooler than any of my tops and blouses, easy care too, but I must say they do not wash clean anymore since I took to wiping the sweat off my face with the bottom of the shirt. makes bad stains.

I prefer mens shorts for the reason that they are longer than womens shorts. I don't like women's capris because they are too long and just look silly.

So I'm woman who fills the man's shorts! ;D

Now it's nice to know I'm not the only one doing this. I also found that when I want to buy V-neck tee shirts, the white ones especially, if I go into the men's section at Wal-Mart I can get them three to a pack for about the same price as I can get one in the women's department, and that's if I can find them in the women's wear. I personally like them better.

Now now ladies dont you be letting out us guys lil secret that as long as clothes are confortable who care what they look like. If the clothing companies find out you women are buying they'll up our prices *;D ;D ;D ;D
