So, we've hit the new high in gas costs here on the the southern Oregon Coast! *$3.45! *I know it'll be three and a half in a day or so...
What are you paying and where are you? *Just curious!

I saw prices as high as 9$ on 9-11-2001 (by the next day the attorney general was investigating)... around Katrina-era I filled up for 4.10 a gallon here in central Indiana... right now it ranges from 3.02-3.30 depending where in town you go. You need to all remember though that the u.s. has had cheaper fuel costs than the rest of the entire world for decades... and we are still cheaper than the vast majority of the world... something to be grateful for.

It's 3.36$ for 87 regular in Riverside, California, but I've seen prices as high as 3.59$ at prime location stations. Chevron Corporation was the world's most profitable company for 2006. Don't believe it when they state they are only raising prices in response to the price of crude! I'm grateful though that diesel (ultra-low sulfur) is cheaper than regular (2.99$) for the first time in more than a year, so maybe I can finally will convince the wife that we should get a diesel powered sedan.
2.89 in my neck of the woods. I think it is a little higher in Mobile. If those oil companies were not making billions in "profit" it would not be so hard to take. I know people who don't have enough grocery money or money to pay their bills because they have to travel so many miles to get to their jobs. We live in a rural county and lots of people drive to Mobile or further to work. Roy drives 90 miles roung trip a day.

2.979 last night. I guess they are trying their best to keep it under $3? Other stations are $3.249. I am so glad school is almost out! One less trip to town each day!

We jumped from 3.30 to 3.58 today... now i get to go mow my grass (in the 88F heat joy) and laugh at my neighbors because I use a reel mower... and they all use gas powered mowers.

Perth Western Australia we are paying about AU$1.37 per litre so if it was a gallon think 4 litres?? would be about AU $5.50 per gallon or i just went on an exchange rate calculator and worked out to be $4.50 american dollars per galon,
What you guys think about that?????
however my hourly pay rate also works out to be about 27 american dollars an hour

In my area of Mi. were @ 3.69 a gal. The gov. has a .45 cent per gal. tax.For the roads they say. They took out about 50 beautiful maples lining the roads. They wanted a wider shoulder I guess.I would of took the cheaper gas and shade of the maples. They just shredded them all. :( Perfect firewood. shreds. Our road, on the other hand is in such bad shape, patches over patches,I really don't understand their motives. ???
