Could a category for give-away be included? How would businesses be kept out of the area so we wouldn't get slammed with "buy my this" or "buy my that"?

What's wrong with the one that we already have?

I saw that while I was looking for a place to ask if anyone had any extra peppercorn seed and I was thinking of using it to offer up spare plants I'd grown from seed (give-away) but.... I don't have a blog or website or anything like that.... I don't even have a Facebook or MySpace anything. We're not supposed to post over there unless we do. I think that's an area to keep all the folk who register to dump links to their goods and services on us all together. That way they don't end up in threads that are for discussions.... it's probably a really good idea to have that area otherwise they'd turn this whole website into their personal billboard.

Only requirement is that one be a confirmed member.

Not your fault.
It's what happens when there are WAY too many categories......especially ones that almost never get used.

Here's what I'm seeing...

That "For Sale / Trade / Wanted (http://www.backwoodshome.com/forum/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=87)" looks like it's some sort of a subforum to Member Websites and here's what's posted for that forum and its subforums:
Member Websites Websites, blogs, videos, and home-based and other businesses of qualifying Forum members. Posting is restricted to Confirmed Members. See FAQ inside.

AlchemeAcres, Your spot on about to many catagories. with some hardly used. But that is what happens when you leave the basics of what this forum is about. When one tries to please everyone then no one is happy. Besides when it's kept simple ya don't have to sort through so much fluf
