So how many of you are members of a freecycle board?
What kinds of things have you gotten?
I joined the one nearest to where I live.
This morning I picked up three big bags of fabric from another member,it was well worth it,and I even split it with my Mom.
I've gotten lots of things, and also gotten RID of lots of things,I think it's a very useful website for those that can take advantage of it.
So tell me about your adventures with freecycle...........

I just dropped out of the Freecycle group I was in...the main group was in a town 30 miles away, and I could never get to the stuff quick enough, and no one ever wanted to drive to my town to get my free stuff. The main freecycle board told me my area wasn't big enough to support it own group, but the group 30 miles away only has like one or two offers a week, so I don't see the diff...I am disappointed w/ my experience. :(

Rideaway you can still make your own Yahoo group for free-recycling in just your area. You can call it whatever you want and spread the word locally. What state are you in?

I know what you mean,I had to join the one nearest me as well, but now that one has grown to the point that I really think they should break it up into smaller areas,it has over 3200 members!
I noticed a new one just started in KY,has 5 members so far.......

I got a laptop and have given away roosters twice.
I've got kid movies 2 lawnmowers and a grill.
Was kind of ticked last week when someone offered a dryer since ours is dead. I responded to them and they said it would be $40 &$&% >:(
