WalMart goods in stores

I don't get out much this time of year except to farm sales and the small Amish stores in this area. Last weekend we went to 2 different WM stores. The stores both had WIDE clear ailes down the center where they usually have displays. It looked like there were less goods in the whole store than usual. Did anyone else notice that? Or was it just a new decorating theme for the stores?
I didn't go anywhere else except the feed store. It seemed stocked as usual.

They may be getting ready to put in the spring gardening items. Between seasons, they often move quantities of goods around to get the new displays out where you will be tempted to buy.

It looks odd, though, doesn't it? A few months ago I was in a local Target that looked half empty and it was scary to think they might be going out of business like so many others, but no - they were just getting ready for a remodel.

Lots of people out there putting money in the mattress. Consequently stores are reducing inventory.

They could be getting ready for an inventory too. When I worked there, they would reduce the merchandise on the floor to make the inventory faster (cheaper).

Our wal mart to us that they had cut the shipments the store got. From 3 trucks a week 1 a week and they got what ever was sent.If it was a truck load of totes well we seen totes every were. hmmm I had money to spend but they didn't have the products . Wonder why I took my money home?
