of you have worked for "agencies" paying
low wages to you and charging mega bucks to the clients? Like wages of $7.00 per hour and clients getting charged $20.00 per hour?
I brought this over from another post, *JeffColorado was responding to an earlier post of mine, I'll dig that up and put it here:
Oh, they are so INSANELY jealous of their neighbor that earns a LIVING wage the only thing they can think of is rabidly attacking THEM.
Look at the poster of this thread, does he LOOK like a Union guy? So, what does that leave.
Incidentally, unions only cover 12 1/2% of workers now.
40-50 years ago, the rate was 80% covered.
People work longer hours under worse conditions with lower adjusted incomes than they did 50 years ago.
Know what i think?
i think many anti-uinon people are themselves small business "entreupeners" who hire desperate people at minimum wage and charge others $$$ for the labor. Like "cleaning services", "home health aides" etc. I did for a short time work as a "home health aid", I was a certified NA so I got $7.00 an hour, in FL 20+ years ago. They (the agency)CHARGED the folks I worked for $20.00 an hour. *
These anti-union vultures are about to get their comeuppance tho. Between the illegals leaving, Obama's service tAmerica thing... and the fact that people cannot afford many services that they once enjoyed...well.
Of course some will be out there syill, and I am afraid for some it will be like the "Grapes of Wrath" all over again. And their overlords, the union busters will be out there hiring them again as "contract" workers so they can pick their bones clean.

You act like there is something wrong with that, just how do you expect a business owner to make a profit, who pays for the marketing, SSI, Accounting, Insurance, staff? Is all this suppose to magically happen at no cost? Do you think businesses shouldn't be compensated for the risk they put themselves in by hiring you and running a business? You had the opportunity to walk away and not look back if something goes wrong – small business owners normally have EVERYTHING on the line - why shouldn't they be entitled to earn a profit? I get so tired of people who think they should "share" in the profits of a company - if you want to share in the profit, then buy stock, put your money out there at risk just like they do - Nobody owes you anything, if you don't want to work for a certain wage, then use you feet and walk away and see if you qualify for some other job that is willing to pay you what you want. *

Cut it out, you know that is CRAP, the only "marketing' the agency did was yellow page ads and word of mouth.
What the hell are you talking about"share in the profits"? Making someone a virtual SLAVE and living off their labor, that's a GOOD thing in your book? I DID get amuch better job shortly, but CIRCUMSTANCES like being a single mom, newly divorced and relocated out of necessity (a loony ex), those things are IMPORTANT. *
Whenyou spout your drivel about expenses that only tells me what you do. *
People sometime MUST work for a wage far below what they are worth. Time is running out though for those who trade in misery. Too bad buddy, I KNOW what goes on and the scams that are run with medicare and medicaid and those "home health care" agencies. Anyone who has worked for one does. I hope to see an end to those things. pesonally if I need care as I get older, I will find a person on my own and pay her MORE than the agency. Of course that means 10% for SS and Medicare taxes on top of her salary so that would come to lets see, ONE DOLLAR FOR EVERY TEN EARNED, and of course if she works for ME no ins. oh, and the advertising, well, that word of mouth thing...it costs nothing.
Lets see, did I leave anything out, oh, That's right
