Hi all - this story ran here locally and I thought the links provided looked pretty good - probably depends on your expertise, etc.

A quick google search shows they've been around quite a while... but I keep finding the same press release, with them just changing the location name "to hire 100 in Nebraska" "to hire 100 in Oklahoma" "to hire 100 in Florida"

Hmmm...thanks for the update Ryan. I was thinking of posting an application with one of them to see what kind of response I get

That looks just like the story my paper ran a couple of months back. I had already checked into the Alpine Access and a couple of others online. Some of them require you to have your computer in a separate room where the customer can't hear the kids in the background when you take a call. Since most of the people that need this type of work have small children it's not wise to go into a room, close the door, and work while the kids entertain themselves elsewhere in the house. Not only that, I know of few stay-at-home mothers who actually have a room they can commit solely to something like this, I know we don't. That's why I'm trying to get into medical coding since it doesn't require me to be in an almost totally silent room.
