I'll be starting training in January for medical coding and with a little luck will begin work after graduation with the Baptist Health System here in town. I know for a fact that one of their hospitals here is setting their coders up to work from their homes.
This is a legitimate work at home idea and if you are trained in the medical field it shouldn't be hard to get further training in coding and maybe your local hospital would allow you to work from your home.

How did you find out about this job? I'd love to do this...

We have a neighbor who does this for a living. Must be a pretty good job from all apearances. Good luck !

My wife works from home to assist new agents when they have
problems. One thing we've learned is.....set work hours that you
will accept calls (or work)!!

It's amazing what people think they can get away with since you
work at home!

I agree with buck, it is very tempting to just go out to the shop 24/7, or to not go out when I should.
