The Wife called me this morning, and told me about THIS:

Seems these two "fine citizens" were serving 10 years for armed robbery, burglary, and theft, and "walked away" from their incarceration, and bailed out of a stolen vehicle last night, less than a mile from my house, when a State Trooper caught sight of them.
Now everyone around here is walking around visibly armed, and on high alert......these two could be hiding out in somebody's barn, or worse, kidnapped someone in this area, and holing-up in their home until the heat's off.....Been a while since I walked out to the mailbox with a full .45 Auto "Combat Rig" strapped on; I usually just have a snub .38 in my back pocket.....
It's nice to have the means to defend yourself from these types of dangers.....but we all get complacent living in the country, thinking "it won't happen here".....They have not been re-captured, as of this writing.....
