A month ago, my temp job ended, so I updated my resume on Monster.com and a couple of other jobsites. I should have known the fake job / fraud offers would start, but I've seen so many, I'm getting pretty good at spotting them now.

I got a pretty good one this morning, and it reminded me to go remove ALL resumes now. I start my new job next week, and even if it doesn't work out, I'll never post my info there again. I will look for work on job boards, but NEVER again give my contact info to a job board!

Here's the front part of their offer, in case you haven't seen one:
Hello,

I represent a textile agency located in the UK which currently has openings for a sales representative/front line representative in the USA.This is in view of our not having an office presently in the USA.You don't need to have an Office and this certainly won't disturb any form of work you have going at the moment. In this position you will be working from home coordinating payments from customers and help us with the payment process for customers within the united states. You are expected to be service-driven, focused minded individuals and aquire good communication skills. Payments will be on a weekly or monthy basis depending on choice.Interested job seekers should contact nordaryustx@consultant.com.
nordaryustx@xtvworld.com,nordaryustx@msn.com

I don't feel a bit bad about posting THEIR contact information. They want to send me counterfeit money orders, have me cash them, and send MY money to replace them. I wish someone would pound them to mush!

Unfortunately, there's so much internet fraud, there's almost no hope these low-life creeps will be caught or proscecuted.

This is just a twist on the run-of-the-mill Nigerian scam and is on every job posting site you can find.

Here's another good scam. *You appply for a position and the next day you get a letter about a job posting and are directed to go here:

http://www.adminsolutionsgroup.net/

When you get there the first thing they try and do is enroll you in some college, if you decline they send you to another location and try and get you to sign up for "free rewards".

Now why in heck would I want a $100 gift card from pizza hut and why and hell do they want two months worth of banks statements?

Do they think everyone is an idiot?

P.S. they never do let you get to their "jobposting". I've reported them to symentec for evaluation.

Here's the newest, I'm looking for something in the tech industry. I keep getting these offers from people that want you to work in sales.... go figure.

One other one is where they try and set you up with a home based business it's called crazyfox and sometimes you'll see them on TV hawking their business, guess what...

It's Herbalife and other MLM scams.
