View Full Version : New .22 Revolver
Well Ive decided cut down on the collection.
I traded in 3 pistols that I didnt really want anymore for various reasons.
The outcome was another .22, but a revolver this time, and a check from the gunshop.
I picked it up out of state so I have to get it trasfered here(next week).
For plinking and what not of course!
Charter Arms .22 Pathfinder just like below.

Nice lookin' gun. How big is it?

It looked like a pistol that would take something bigger than a .22 when I first saw it. Id say its about the size of a Nagant pistol. It seemed pretty robust for a .22 unlike some of my past .22's.

OK Mr. B
You should have had that new Charter Arms .22 for a while now so what do you think of it?
I've kinda had my eye on one of those myself and am curious to hear what you think about it now that you've had it for a while.
Is it accurate?

I really like it for a .22 revolver, it fits well in my hand, the trigger pull is really nice. The accuracy of the revolver seems pretty good, I was shooting clay pigeons at 25 meters no problem. All in all I'm really happy with it. If you see one and have the cash or can do payments at the gun shop pick it up!

As far as I am concerned Charter has always made good guns. They have gone through about four changes of ownership since they began including at leasy one bankruptcy.
The only Charters I have owned have been .44 Bulldogs one original 4" Target and two Bulldog pugs. Fine guns and frequent companions.
IIRC the pathfinder was about the same size as a J frame S & W Kit Gun and again IIRC they made a .22 Mag version way back in the early-mid 70's.
