My brother wants to sell his Linebaugh Ruger Vaquero in .45 Colt. I heve searched every place I know and cant find a value for this as new gun. I have read that used they sell for as much or more than new, thats about $2000. Any one have an idea on value or where to search.

He found an '86 in .40-60 and thinks he will die if he doesnt get it. Its at a Cabelas and they told him they couldnt even give him a thou in trade and they want $2000 for the rifle.

Did a quick google on this cartridge.
It seems to be in a league of it's own.
Not common enough to have much of a following.

Best advise I can give is look on GunBroker.com
and see if you can find similar equipment for sale.

Good luck
Wyo

Linebaugh guns are very desirable and one of the best custom single action sixguns made. PM me and I will give you some forums where the old school sixgunners hang out, you may be able to sell it there.

If it is a Bisley grip frame, I would be interested also.

Best regards,

Its not a Ruger type Bisley but not a plow handle grip either. Will get with you later today. Thanks
