I just bought my first two handguns. Here is what I went with:

a. Glock 17, 9x19 Caliber w/two 17 capacity magazines
b. FNH-USA, FNP-45 ACP w/ one 15 and two 14 capacity magazines.

Does anyone else have these two handguns and do you like them?

I have read good reviews for both handguns. What are your thoughts on my selection?

I have had a Glock 17 for 16 years and it is my favorite handgun, of the ones I own. Come ahead of the two custom 1911s I have built.

Rock solid never fails action. There are 33rd magazines for them when Glock tried to sell their Glock 18 (a 17 but with a full auto switch) to the Law and Protection markets. Two of those go in the glove box when I am going to major city.

I don't know anything on the FNH, except to say that Fabrique Nationale makes great guns.

FN makes a good gun but I don't think it compares with a Glock for a rough and ready handgun.
