Nothing like a lady that knows what she doing.
Every young lady should be able to shoot, throw hawks/knives.......
Intresting that she wears both for right hand draw, must be the riding thing, doesn't have to switch hands.............

Horses, cowboy guns, and pretty gals. It don't get much better than that.
My work terminal here wouldn't load the video, and I've got dial up at the house, so I'll just take your word for it.

I cant do videos, darn. But I am a Ruger nut case. My gun shop was called "BlackHawk Trading Co." I had a personal collection of around 35 Ruger SAs,mostly 3 screws, and several DAs in Super reds. My specialty was custom job Blackhawks/Super Hawks.I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 325 rugers at 1 time. My neighbor had the largest collection of stainless Ruger revolvers in the U.S. He also collected mini machine guns mostly firing .22 LR. I have sold all but 1 special Super Redhawk.

Back in, I think it was 94 ruger came out with the new bearcat with .22LR and .22 mag cylinders. I bought the only 2 my dealer friend ever received. They were given to him by the distributer when he made his order for the year as incentives. The mag cylinder was out of time and they were recalled by Ruger. If you sent them(just the mag cylinders) in Ruger sent a check for $40 but I wasnt falling for that! I kept them unfired and unturned in the box. Paid $100 for each and in the end only about 150 were believed to be in circulation. I eventually sold them for $650 each. That was 1 of the best deals I made on guns. There arent even 100 left I think i read. havent been a member of Ruger Collector ASSOC. FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW SO NOT UP ON THINGS. i DO STILL HAVE A hAWKEYE I FORGOT ABOUT. I was just about to get a subscription # when I had to sell out. That would have allowed me to buy any new Ruger firearm with a certain serial #. I gave all the engraved Vaqueros to my kids and the one Linebaugh custom Vaquero .45 to my brother. i also collected pre garcia Sako deluxe rifles.
Guns are like friends, ya cant have too many.
The one Ruger i wish i had kept is, a new blk. hawk 357 mag. i sold to a customer with a box of ammo. The next day he came back rather peeved at me for giving him the WRONG ammo for it.
He handed me the gun and the ammo, and as i tried to put a round in the cyl, i saw right away that none of the chambers were deep enough, not even 38 spl.'s would go in all the way... So much for test fireing EVERY gun before it leaves the factory...
I wonder what that one would sell for today?

I only own one Ruger, a New Model Blackhawk blued in .45Colt. I may own another next year but love this one and am in no rush.
If I may ask fancyfowl, why so few now? Why giving them away? Feel free to let me know if I am being too intrusive.

All Rugers are actually fired before moving out. They quit cleaning them before shipping during the 80s as a cost saving move rather than raising prices at the time. Ruger is uniqe in the way they assemble their weapons. Many parts are made and dumped into part bins, then the parts are grabbed from the bins as they are assembled. this is one reason so many collectibles are created. certain serial # runs may have parts from another run, say a aluminum frame on a run of steel frames. Was that .357 possibly chambered for H&R .32 mag? not likely but anything is possible.
Bill Ruger would have been praised for his genius if he manufactured a more politically correct product. One of his very 1st projects was an re-worked automatic Savage 99 for the military, it was not approved at their testing.
I have had some serious vision problems resulting in the sale of my 2 businesses, a beer distributor and a gun shop. I could no longer see well enuff to hunt nor target shoot so down the road they went, alas, I have had some vision restored and can now see well enuff to shoot left handed. Its a struggle to relearn from a life time of right hand shooting. I wish I had kept some of the more rare and prized guns.
Just talked to a friend a bit ago, he says those Bearcats are trading for over 1000 bucks now! Too bad some of those baby Nambus they prototyped didnt hit the market!!
