I'm not new to handguns, but I'm new to Glocks and am considering buying one. However, I won't buy one if they have magazine disconnectors. Can somebody answer this question for me?
Thanks

you mean these:
A magazine disconnector is a passive mechanical locking device that is designed to prevent the unintended discharge of the weapon when the magazine is removed from the pistol. Like the loaded chamber indicator, the magazine disconnector was originally developed in the early 1900s by European gun manufacturers. When a magazine is not fully inserted into the gun, the linkage between the trigger and the hammer release is disconnected. This prevents the pistol from being fired, even if a cartridge is in the chamber.
No they do not. At least i have not run across a single model that has- and i personally own several.
here are a pair of older model 17s showing the sight mods i am putting on all the hand guns. Both already have several other modifications. See if you can spot them!

right you guys nailed it!
Coming up next is an "after market" tactical rail to bring those old frames up to date. Problem is a slot must be machined into the frame from the inside and a Glock frame isn't exactly easy to mount up in a mill.
I'm sure i'll figure it out though.
