OK, one of the side arms I have been meaning to get for several years now is a decent, inexpensive .22.

I just haven't run across any good used guns, and I don't wish to blow for a new Ruger.

So, has anyone had any experiance with these .22s from Heritage Arms?

I have heard some good things about them, and seen them for sale locally quite cheap, but I have always passed them by because I thought they might be just junk.
I'm starting to think that if they are as good as some folk say they are that I just might pick one up.

I'll be using it to kill live stock, maybe shoot an occational squirrle or rabbit, but mostly to plink with just for fun.

I had one for about a year, a few years ago.
The timing went out on it.
I tried a couple local g'smiths to see if they'd fix it.
No luck. I ended up giving it away, for parts.

My advice...Save your bucks a little longer.
Get a good used Ruger Single Six or Bearcat.
Or, a new one if you can afford it.
They'll last you a life time.
Have fun!

I agree that they are too cheaply made. I looked at one a few years ago in the shop and decide to pass on it because I though it was junk. What really bothered me though was the manual safety. It seems totally un-natural on a single action revolver.
