Look up H & R pistols. I think they used to make one in .22.

I guess I'm trying to understand why, if you want a swing out cylinder, you'd want a single action?
Actually, I can't understand why anyone would want a single action, period.

I like single action myself have a couple of them now and owned several over the years fun to shoot and a little piece of history and brings out the little cowboy kid in ya. Probably why I love lever actions as well but Longshot I don't know of any single action with a swing out cylinder but I due like ruger single actions just my two cents! ;)

whats wrong with a single action?

Nothing "wrong" per se but WHY?
It offers no advantage over the double action, and the double action can be fired single action and it's a LOT easier to load/empty. Lot more models/styles of DA to choose from as well.
It's sorta like trying to buy a car with a carburated(sp) engine, it works, sure, but theres something that works a lot better.......

I can't shoot double action. There are probably many folks out there like me. Just making noise with a DA.
Besides, no DA has the 'feel' of a well balanced SA. Period. If they did I might be able to handle one better.
Maybe thats what he's lookin' for.
