Archery Season 07

Who all is already getting Ready for this year's archery season? It's only 8 months away for me, so despite how long that sounds, it never takes long and I have a lot to do.
Got to get in and make some more trails, put up some more stands, and cut shooting lanes, and I need to get started now.

Hi Pitdog, i remember you like your bowhunting. You're talking about making trails, i thought you meant shooting your bow. I keep thinking to do some practicing but it is a little early for that, the wind has been bad (March).

I to have been thinking of moving stands + making minor repairs. wind took out two stands. by october i will be ready.

I've been thinking of getting one thru the bathroom window. How far do they usually run when heart shot?

Season starts 1 Oct here and TX too I think. I'll be on the Mex border for the first week of the season but as soon as I get back to the house I'll be looking to make meat.
