A ms. man killed two deer with the same arrow. The first doe was killed when the arrow hit both lungs and tipped the heart. The other doe was killed when the arrow passed through the first doe and cut her jugular vein.

Strange things do happen. I wonder if the hunter
got to keep both deer due the one arrow kill??

Sure he got to keep both deer. Here in Ms. you don't even have to buy a deer tag and check them in. They do ask that you call in and record when you kill a deer.
They were both does and you can kill just about all of them you want. They are eating us up.
It was in the newspaper, along with his name.

I shot at a spike buck who continued to browse, but got out of my line of fire before I could loose another arrow. 1/2 hour later he wandered back around so I shot again. Solid hit this time and he ran off over the hill. I climbed my stand back down the tree and packed up. Then I thought I'd try to find my first arrow. It was where it should have been, and with liquid and hair on it. :o
Yep! Two different "twin" spike bucks! The legal length for antlered VS antlerless (bucks & does) deer here in OH is 4". OH will only issue one "buck" tag per hunter. The rest have to be antlerless. I had two tags and used them both. One was 1/2" over 4" and one was 1/2" under 4".
The first buck made it 20 yards from where I shot him though both lungs.
