Has anybody here used blueberry leaves to make a tea? And does anyone know if they conatin properties similar to the raspberry leaves?
We have some blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry bushes and just thhis past year discovered the value of raspberry leaves in tea (especially for women).
Any other uses for these leaves besides in a tea?

We have never used cultivated blue berry leaves for tea we gather leaves from wild rasp and blackberries, taking care to not take them from roadsides. I am familiar with dried wild huckleberries for diarrhea but have not used the leaves.

blueberry leaves in a tea is good for stomach upset. Use fresh or dried leaves that you are sure have not been treated (insecticide) or near a roadway. I have used raspberry leaves in salad dressing (oil and vinegar) and in marinades (specially good for chicken)

Ok, forgive my ignorance, but why not ones from roadways? I've heard my Gramma tell a story about her, her sister and my Great Grandpa picking asparagus on the way home from church along the roadside. Now I do realize this was 70 years or more ago, and wow have times changed, but honestly, I might not have given it a thought.
Also, does this include the fruit too? You wouldn't pick leaves or fruit or anything edible off vines or any plant off the roadside?
That kinda blows... there are some wild grapes growing down a mile or so away and I've been eyeing them for a couple years on my walks... Oh well...

Virtually all roadways are sprayed with poison on a regular basis - it's how they control the brush on the sides of the roads. Not to mention what could fly off of vehicles now adays.
Around here you have to mark your road front "owner will maintain" if you don't want them to spray and even then there is no guarantee.
