Was talking to a gunsmith last night and he believes the new administration is going to add astronomical taxes on guns and ammo. I voted for McCain, since it seemed like a war hero like him and a hunter like Palen would be the more pro gun choice. I guess with Obama/Biden they may let us keep them, because they're useful as a tax source. I'm not too politically savvy, just going on what the gunsmith said, but he ought to know about these things, anyone else heard of new gun taxes in store for us?

They tried in pa and we went crazy! *word spread like a burning barn! so for anyone who hasn't a cell phone, can't text or can't email quickly..be ready for the new minuetman erea.. as soon as I was told that fast eddy was going to tax all gun owners $15 per gun per year, *I called & texted every single person I knew.

The lights in old north Church are now cellphones, IM, text and Email!

We moved on Harrisburg in buses! *WE rallied at farm related mettings saying we'd stop feeding philly if they encroched on our rights! *Who are these people to point a selfrichus finger in our faces and tell us they will tax our arms?

To Hell with the motherless bastards!!!!! Litteraly!

Any how, The tax was stoppend in part due to the VT shooting later that week. *Those people did not die with out a cause. And for every mother who may tear her hair and cry at night...why why, she should know her child was taken for a reason.

May the names of VT stand as a reminder to all, that well and good men should have the right to keep and bear arms. *

It's pure speculation at this point but, most industry insiders that I know do agree that it's more than a probability.
As was mentioned above - taxing arms like they do property will be met with great fury. Taxing ammo, though, won't be as hard and they can start small and do it incrementaly. I'm buying ammo NOW as this is where I expect it all to begin.
