Need some advice....???
I have one of the economy gun safes made by Stack On. This safe does not have any interior insulation against humidity, etc.
What is the best material line the walls and floor of this safe to minimize humidity and protect its contents?
Thanks...

As for insulation, the best safes use a special type of drywall/low-moisture-content fiberboard that raises the fire-resistance rating. I don't believe it has anything to do with protecting against humidity, just fire protection.
For humidity control in my safes, I have used these for many years:

I have NEVER had ANY rust or corrosion on ANY of my firearms, ever, since I started using these. They do not use much electricity (pennies a YEAR), and introduce NO toxic vapors to the interior of the safe. I believe the last one I bought from Cabela's was about $24.00.
If your safe will be located in a humid or damp area, such as a basement, I HIGHLY recommend one of these. They'll save you a lot of money AND heartache! ;D

My browning safe has a goldenrod in it, and has worked without problems for a long time. I had a small steel locking cabinet before that, and just used a simple cord with an appliance bulb and it worked great as an alternative.
