Yup.

Seems prices around here aren't too awful bad just yet, but still higher than last year. Biggest increases I've seen so far are from the big volume mail-order houses.

Lucky for me, we've got quite a few smaller shops around these parts that bought large quantities pre-Y2K, and still have "old" prices on a lot of inventory. A few are marking up and trying to "cash in" on the recent "metals scare", but most are content to get what their markup was 6-8 years ago.

Last two boxes of factory brass (Winchester .38 Special) I bought about 3 months ago had better than a 1/4" of dust on it. They worked just fine, though. :D

Guess I need to buy a couple of 4 or 6-cavity molds for .357 and .44 pills, too; just in case.... ;D

Even then...lead is getting harder in most areas to come by....(if you cast)

.45 acp copper jacketed Rainier bullets have almost tripled in price since last August... :(

I paid $35 per 500 in August...$69 per 500 in March...and found them just recently for $97 per 500 from the supplier I bought from in March... >:(

Since I shoot as much outdoors as in...I'm going back to loading lead too....
