Stiff trigger

Picked up a Marlin/Glenfield Model 25 (.22 Bolt) couple weeks ago. Good shape, shoots fairly good groups, but the trigger pull is way too high for good, accurate shooting. Anybody out there ever worked over a trigger to smooth/lighten it up?

Replace the trigger spring with one from a Pentel pen and see if that helps you out.
