I am almost done with my stock for my .257 I built. Anyone got any good or favorite loads cooked up for this awesome cartridge?
I hope to have it done by middle of Oct so I can hunt with it in November. If so I will have about 4 weeks to work up a load for it.

I've been using 48 grains of Reloader 19, Speer 100gr baot tail #1408, Winchester brass, Federal match primers at 2.770 over all length. Out of a Rem 700 it's good for 1/2 inch groups, if I do my part.

I have several good loads that work in my 700 Rem. Classic.
36 grs of IMR 4064 or 39 grs of H-380 with a 100 gr. Hornady or Sierra soft point.
Next is 40 grs of H-380 with 117gr Nosler, either the partition or the balistic tip.
And finally my favorite Whitetail in the woods load 36 grs of H-380 with a Hornady 117gr Round nose soft point.
