Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful pictures, Flatwater. I've loved looking at them.

We used to have this many deer in our backyard too until the owner of the acreage behind our couple acres opened up his land to hunters. Before that he forbid folks from hunting on it but autumn of 2007 he allowed some folks to hunt... and now the deer are all gone. I mean ALL gone!!! We don't ever see even one anymore.

Really sad. :'(

The part that made me angry was... the owner of the acreage doesn't even live on it. He lives in another part of the county and doesn't allow hunting on that property. He said he likes to watch the deer in the morning when he drinks his coffee.

Yeah... we did too. >:(

Yeah, they're cute to look at and pretty...until you have one eat your whole dang garden!

That's why I make sure the deer are safe in my freezer. Then I can look at them any time I want. ;)
