If this snow continues I believe that the deer are going to have a hard time surviving this winter
When the snow gets deep like that, i take my tractor, curl the bucket back, and head out across my hay fields... It pushes out trails for the deer, and removes enough snow so they can dig for something to eat... I just did it last week, then a warm up came through and melted all the snow off!
I really enjoy seeing the deer, they come out into my fields and up by my house all year around.

Best to check with your nearest local state Dept of Game or Natural Resources. Depending on game populations, and the capacity of your local area to support a game population, they will have recommendations whether or not to feed them. Best to follow their advise.
A lot of circumstances change year to year. That is why rules change as far as hunting seasons and bag limits etc.
They are fun to watch etc. But nature will do its thing sometimes regardless of our well meaning etc.
