ummm I dont use dogs,but my buddy does and he uses beagles,but you are going to haft to get ready to spend alot of money on them cuse when u are running hogs the hogs will attach the dogs, so kill it as quick as possible

In Florida hunters usually use some sort of Bulldog Breed. The tougher the dog the better when it comes to Hog Hunting. They are bad about killing smaller dogs, etc.

I read the threads on the various hunting boards and Mountain Cur seems to be used commonly.

Black Mouthed Cur/Mountain Cur. Same dog, and utterly fearless. Sharp teeth, and powerful jaws.

um I've never hunted wild hogs but I imagine some kind of weapon would be needed besides the dogs. ;)
