I've got about 50 of those plastic bubble thingys that the girls get points stickers in from a machine at the grocery store.
I've been thinking about using them to make Christmas ornaments but don't know what I could make that would be small enough to put into them and light enough to hang on our 2 foot tree. Also must be cheap to make as I don't have a lot of money.
Any and all suggestions will be sincerely appreciated. Oh yes, they're clear except for the cap which is colored, mainly in a pastel but I've to at least one dark blue.

Perhaps a little spray adhesive and some glitter on the inside? Just spray both pieces, sprinkle some glitter in one piece, snap them together and shake! ;D

A. Turn them into mini snowglobes
B. Angel Bell. (paint it white and insert bell and add face, wings and arms)
C. Holiday candy ( wrap whole bubble in shiny decorative paper so it looks like hard candy)
D. Beaded netting tassel. (use bubble to keep the shape of the tassel.)
I hope some of these ideas spark inspiration.

I have seen some really cute tiny figures made from Fimo or similar polymer clay (Sculpey is another) - if you get it on sale, it's not too bad. You could get a generic color & paint them, rather than buying a lot of different colors. They make figures lighter by forming the clay around a bit of something else- I've seen beads made around a corn puff or a wad of tinfoil, so either would work!

If you google polymer clay, you should be able to find loads of sites with instructions. I could see tiny angels in there, with bits of lace for wings and a bit of cotton ball pulled apart for clouds . . .
