Is there a way to search a thread/board for specific information?? For example, I am looking for information on using natural products (beets, etc) to dye cloth or do designs on T-shirts (kinda like tie-dye).

I have started going through the messages (one by one), but if the title doesn't appear to be related to what I'm searching for at the time...I don't usually read through all the responses.

Another great thing about a search feature is, it would allow "newbies" (like me!) to attempt to find answers before posting a question.

Hey, it's a new question to me, but if you've (an established, long time member) have already answered that question a gazillion times ::)......well, just seems like it would get a bit tiresome at times :-/.

Everyone has been extremely willing to help, with whatever question I've had and I'm forever grateful!!! Just curious about the search options.

Hi Bookworm

Along the top of the forum page you'll see:

Home Help Search Members Profile Logout

Just click on "Search" and enter the information you are hoping to find. I did a search on "natural dye" and came up with 3 hits....one of which was your question. There are other options for searching, but I don't remember them at the moment. You might go to Google..... or www.alltheweb.com and search for natural dye.....I'll bet you'll come up with some info there.

Good luck.....and ain't this internet thing a heck of a tool!!

Thanks Fred:-)

Would you believe I didn't even see the 'search' button at the top of the forum page??? *The only search box I had noticed was at the very tip-top right hand corner ::). *

Can you imagine how bad it would be if I didn't wear contacts? ;D
