the top pic shows two of my knives the one on the right is a skinner 3 inch blade 8 inches LOA the handle is from a curved birch branch that fits the curve of the hand like a glove. *the bottom pic shows the Canadian Quarter that i set into the pommenal of the handle showing the cariboo, it is a skinning knife after all. *

the knife on the left is a 4 inch general purpurse knife that i made from the same doner *steel the LOA is 8 inches. the handle on this one is oak "glued" on using JB weld. i also made the sheathes *for them.

they were both done using stock removal method
so what do you think?

They look good. :) Knife making is something I've always wanted to try. Do you do it as a business or is it a hobby?

I think they are great!! I especially like the one in the top photo on the right...wow!
I have a couple handmade knives that my husband and dad got me at Gun shows (my dad was a gun show promoter for years before he passed away and my family still runs the business)
You do a great job!!

Some good-looking knives there. If you use only "stock removal", do you heat-treat at all?
