Fur ear muffs

Does anyone know how to make fur ear muffs. I am guessing that there is a earmuff blank that the fur is put over and attached too. but I can't seem to find the ear muf blanks.

Most of the time you can get earmuffs for a dollar at the dollar stores. Why not just get a few of those and use the original coverings for a pattern.

Thanks for the posts! This is an excellent way to use fur collars from old winter coats. Also would be great Xmas presents!
