This is just an idea I was kicking around. I'm looking at the concept of seeding a new lawn area with some plant that can double as animal feed.
My general idea is that, during the warm part of the year, you could make 1 pass each day with the bagging attachment on the lawn mower, then dump the clippings for the animals to eat. When you get to the end of the lawn start over at the beginning.
My questions are:
1) Is it feasible at all? "It would be ugly" doesn't make it unfeasible IMO, but "the plants will kill the soil in 2 months" might.
2) What plants/animals would make a good "team" to use this technique?
