View Full Version : Crochet pattern for towel toppers?

I've searched around the web for this and haven't found one. These are the little crochet pieces that attach to a kitchen towel and have a button and loop for attaching to your stove or fridge. Would sure appreciate a pattern if you have one!

One towel, cut in half.

Worsted-weight yarn.

Size F crochet hook.

Row 1: Sc across the top of the cut side of the towel. Ch 1, turn.

Row 2: Sc across row, ch 2, turn.

Row 3: Dc across row, chain 2, turn.

Row 4: Dc across row, chain 3, turn.

Row 5: Tr in first sp, *sk 1 sp, tr 1, repeat from * across, ch 3, turn.

Row 6: Repeat Row 5, ending with ch 2, turn.

Row 8: DC across row, ch 2, turn.

Rows 9-16: Repeat Row 8.

Row 17: Dc in all stitches except center st. Sk center st to form buttonhole, ch 1, turn.

Row 18: Sc across row, fasten off. Sew button between Rows 7 and 8.
