Last fall I left a bag of fertilizer outside in a big rubbermaid container. Well, before I got it put away we got some rain, and then it snowed and as a result, my rubbermaid container is now full of water and fertilizer.

I don't want to just dump it all out in one spot, and I surely don't want to waste it, but I'm not sure how much is too much when I think of pouring it on my plants in a few weeks. I use it sparingly in the first place ( like a tablespoon spread around the base of a plant for the whole summer. ) and I want to use it up.

Any suggestions?

I'd just use it up by putting it around your plants when you water them... A little at a time untill it's all gone...

If you grow any sweet corn, sweet corn can stand quite a bit of N, if the fert you have in there has a decent amount of N.

I collect barrels & barrels of water from my downspouts. Could you not add a couple of cups to a garbage can filled with water? Handwater with this every third or fourth time?
