I love knitting, but it usually falls by the wayside during summer while I am busy gardening & canning. I have been anxious to start up again lately, becuase I make a lot of gifts for Christmas & I am getting a late start this year. I wanted to share a couple of pics of two projects I recently finished. The first is an afghan I made for my husband for our anniversay. I attached a heart with our names & wedding date embroidered on it. The second pic is one I made for my daughter for her birthday.

Lovely afgan's and they are always so nice to cuddle under on a chilly night.

I've been knitting mitten's for Christmas present's this year, I've got nine pair made so far. I started back in January.

I, too, find it hard to get back into the swing of knitting, but I now have everything in the garden harvested.
