FRESH FROM THE GARDEN

I had green onions today fresh from the garden. Homesteading Mom fixed me some pinto beans to go with them. ;D Delicious!! Makes makes my spring fever spike!

Do coldframes and pots inside count?

From the coldframes I'm getting...
Egyptian Walking Onions (used as scallions)
Welsh onions
Monnopa Spinach
Kale
Miner's Lettuce (claytonia)
Mache (corn salad)
Salad Burnett
Sweet Violets
Some lettuces
and Arugula.

Inside in pots, I've got...

Tomatoes (red robin dwarf)
Forced garlic (green garlic)
Chives
Garlic Chives
Several other herbs.

You rock dude! ;D Good list! Hope I can get the greenhouse built soon so I can extend our season. Started to make a cold frame last fall but hoped we would have sold the house by now. I hate being in limbo!! :-/ Anyway, tell me more about your indoor set up.

Nothing special about the set-up inside...the plants are in clay pots in south facing windows with reflective Mylar draped behind to make better use of the available light.
