Thanks for sharing! That is a cool site. I would have to think about where to put things with slits in the top - they would drown anywhere outside but I could put them on the floor of my greenhouse in the winter.

The other thing I really liked was the idea of using Kiddy pools for growing container gardens - what a great idea!

This is so funny. The first year I planted a garden, I planted tomato seeds very early in the spring, in a raised bed and covered it with plastic with slits in it. Everyone around said "you can't grow tomatoes from seeds here you have to plant tomato plants" So after 2 weeks I went and bought some tomato plants and took off the plastic and planted them where I had planted the seeds. The next week all but 2 of the plants I bought had died. But the seeds I had planted were growing and going to town. The only problem is that since I had planted the tomato plants there, the seedlings were all jumbled instead of being in the little rows that I had planted. But they grew and we had more tomatoes than we knew what to do with.
