Michaels', Hobby Lobby & Joanne Fabric all probably carry it.

You might also try some stripes of silicone caulk. I've used that on the back of rugs that wouldn't stay put. You just squirt on some zig-zag stripes and let it sit until the caulk cures. To do slippers with either puff paint or silicone, I'd stuff them with newspaper first so they stay put until dry.

I've made house shoes out of micro-fiber fleece. I have too many thumbs to knit or crochet!

Great idea on making slippers non-skid. I think I will do that for the grandchildren's slippers.

I am knitting some for Christmas present's. I've also knitted nine pair of mittens so far for presents. Everyone on my list is getting mittens this year for sure.

Hi all - my great grandmother used to make us slippers but they were short - just at the ankle and they were kind of open on top of the foot. I'm not sure if she crocheted or knitted them - I think they were crocheted. I haven't crocheted in a long time, but if anyone has made this type would love to hear your ocmment and/or pics! Thanks!
