Beautiful!
I love to do art work, especially embroidering these days, but made dolls quilts last year, among other things.
I know how much work and dedication goes into such a wonderful work of art.
There was a time when i crocheted a lot. As a matter of fact, i did some with cotton thread within the year, but forgot all about it.
Please show us your next project as soon as it is done.

dear Sandycane-have 7 sc.in each row and turn at the end of each row with a chain 1.keep going and going and adding scraps and get big balls of crocheted strips.so u would chain maybe like 9 and sc in 2nd ch from hook.
then when u have big balls.u can either sew the 3 ends together.then use a safety pin to connect to your chair or sofa and start braiding.i fold them in half as i go.then shape your rug the shape u wish and sew under the thru the middle with strong tread.it is just like making a normal braided rug only u crochet the strips.it is a great way to use us scrap yarn.if u need any help...i will be more than happy to help.hugs rae-dean
