Joy, that is gorgeous!! I love pineapple crochet.
Never worked beads into crochet either. Is it difficult??
Joy, your work is beautiful! I used to crochet doll dresses when my youngest daughter(32 now) was a little girl but don't have much interest in it anymore. I enjoyed looking at yours' though.

Thanks guys,
This one is for a friend of mine for her Victorian bedroom. She is a crafter who does all kinds of things, so I think she'll like it for Christmas.
The beading is not hard once you get used to it. You string them on before you need them and then pull them up as you go. Its odd getting used to at first but fun when you get the hang of it.
Hub wants me to do a doll and put it on the net to see what it would go for, so I might do that.

GrandmaJoy,
That is absolutely gorgeous work, I think you should do what your Husband said, I bet you could get a pretty good price for that kind of work.
I haven't crocheted for a long time, but that looks like something that I would like to try sometime. I've got too many irons in the fire right now, but everytime I see something new I like to try it.
Keep up the beautiful work.

This is what got me started making these dolls http://www.paradisedolls.com/crochet-cci.html
these patterns and the best needlework shop in Cody Wy. she had everything! I have done several with the patterns and then I've also made them up as I go. Some of the new patterns are done with sequins, haven't tried that yet should be the same as beading.
Two things that make a world of difference working with small needles and thread are a foam cover for the needle, and I slip a little piece of a finger of a latex glove on my finger for tension(take a glove cut the little finger off and then cut the very end off and slip this over your'e finger)these work wonders for me!

Wow, I went to the internet site and there are gorgeous outfits, I bet you could start a very good business with these kinds of outfits for dolls, because they sure can't go into a regular store and find that kind of quality.
