Different Sweet Patoto Recipes

We know we can fry em, bake em, make a casserole and bread out of em, but what else can we do? What do you folks do with the sweet potatoes?

I am a very simple person and I like them fried and baked. I don't like the white ones though. I love the red ones.

Well....in a former life, in a fancy resternt far far away, we shredded sweet potatoes. The shreds were deep fried in a layer between 2 identical metal strainers. This causes them to stick together forming a "bird's nest" that can be used like a bowl for other food, like a salad. Not persackly a hillbilly recipe, but you wanted something different, lol.

My granny made sweet potatoe bread. Don't have the recipe, but I am sure you can figure it out.
