There isn't a thing in this world more annoying than a hole in your pocket. My work jeans are all getting holes in their pockets. They see some pretty rough use - nails, screws, tools - anything can get stuffed in them when working on a project just to keep things handy. Don't know what the fabric is they make these pockets out of, but the material is ripped, fraying and more than just a matter of a seam giving way.

What do you do to repair/replace pockets?

Regards,
Pat

Depends on if it is a pocket that just lays on top of the material or an inset one. But I find if you reinforce the places that wear with iron on patches then sew them as well it helps.

Thanx annabella1, that's what I pretty much figured. Some of the patches can get pretty rough, rubbing on your legs while working. I picked up a roll of iron-on glue and will make my own patches out of old t-shire or other rags.

Pat
