5-gal bucket cleaning

I was able to get some 5-gallon food buckets from a BBQ place. ???? -How do you remove the odor - onion, BBQ beans, pickles

Wash with soap & water first. Then Clorox. Then use some really really hot soda water. Mine did not have onions though. Hope this helps.

I used baking soda & boiling water & let it soak till cool. It worked on my gal. pickle jars

Borax may help.

A strong solution of oxy clean works my homebrewing buckets, it may work on BBQ, and no hazrdous chemicals then.
