Making Ice cream sauces

I'd like to make hot fudge and carmel sauce for Christmas gifts this year and would like to know if I could can them to preserve them? Also if it is possible a recipe or to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I'm not aware of any recipes or instructions for doing so from any food preserving authority. The density and probable dairy ingredients in the product would make canning unsafe.

Commercial products uses processes and equipment that are more sophisticated (and expensive) than available to home canning enthusiasts, so I would not attempt to compare what they can do.
