You're Being Replaced.. ;D
I've used this unit for years. It never worked like it was supposed to. It is/was the nastiest thing!

I'm building a new unit with one of these. (http://www.ecovita.net/privy.html)
Much easier to clean and a lot smaller. I could have built 10 of these for the money that I have in the Envirolet!

Well..
I got a little farther.. ;)
The top is 3/4" plywood. The sides are 3/8" plywood. The framework is 2"x2"..

I'm designing it for ease of service. I'll make the one side open completely for easy access to anything on the inside. The bucket lifts out easily..

I'm pondering on the vent system. I have an old floor boot for a register and think that I can make a dandy fan holder to ventilate the unit to the outside.. 8)

The diversion unit lifts out easily from the top for cleaning. I'll put a short pig tail on the urine output with a barbed fitting so I can disconnect easily from the plumbing that goes outside..

I haven't decided what I'll do with the outside. Maybe just stain it after I take the router to it and round the edges a little..
