Does anyone know of an economic resource to purchase bulk canning lids by mail?
Thank you,

Hi, you can contact www.fillmorecontainer.com They have Ball regular rings & lids $56.40 case (24) lids $67.80 case (60) wide is rings & lids $40.32 case (12) lids $59.40 case (36) They also have jars.
Or you can check Ebay. I purchased a full case of wide lids for less than $20 including shipping, a case of wide rings & lids about $22 and a lifetime supply (several hundred) of regular size for about $40. I have even found a lot of good "63" lids to go on some narrow-mouth jars I've been dragging around -and using- since the 70's.

Thank you very much for the suggestions!
I have been keeping an eye on ebay, but haven't seen any that are less expensive (when you add on shipping costs) than our stores around here. Maybe I just haven't been in the right place at the right time.
Again, thank you!
I do not know if you have sav-a-lot stores in your area- they have small mouth flats for .99 cents and large mouth for 1.39- that is about the cheepest i have found anywhere- I can about a 1,000 jars a year, so i spend alot on flats-sherry

Have been seeing lifetime lids available and wonder what anybody thinks about them. Have thought about the SHTF scenario. What do we do when or if the supply chain truly breaks and we cannot buy the throwaways any more? It would be very stressful to not be able to replace canning with more canning due to inavailability of supplies, plus, have you noticed how thin the rubber edge of lids has become?
